HISTORY/OPERATIONS

ELOM INTERNATIONAL GROUP COMPANIES was established in 1998 bearing the trade name CHENG - FEI INTERNATIONAL TRADING Corp. — Taiwan, who is one of the biggest and leading distributor of South East Asia grocery products since early 1996. It was founded and presently headed by the Group President Mr. Cheng-Huang, Wu.

ELOM was established to engage primarily in the international trading of daily basic commodities, which caters not only Overseas Civil Workers (OCW) of Philippines, Indonesia, and Vietnam, but also to individuals who are legitimate residents of a particular country. From a humble beginning of serving the commodity requirements of Taiwan, the company eventually metamorphoses into one of the leading traders of grocery products in other parts of the world.

In 2009, the firm established a sister company PT. ELOM INTERNATIONAL TRADING in Jakarta, Indonesia to handle the marketing distribution of commodities and cater the needs of Indonesia Oversea Workers as well as Filipino Oversea Workers.

In the year of 2011, ELOM proved once again it's capability to widen the operation by establish another branch in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam to carry out the same field of interest.

In the year of 2012, NIHONG TRADE Corp., Ltd. , a sub - company of ELOM group was established for the distribution of the coffee product of TRUNG NGUYEN COMPANY, who owns the No. 1 Coffee brand in Vietnam.

At the same year of 2012, ELOM group established the electronic leasing service company COLUMBIA PACIFIC ELECTRONIC LTD. for the distributorship of the 30 years leasing company COLUMBIA Cash&Credit who was established 1982 in Indonesia. For Indonesian Overseas Workers who are working in Taiwan to satisfy their needs of leasing electronic, furniture, motors, and IT products for their families who lives in Indonesia.

To date , ELOM satisfies the commodity requirements of Filipino, Indonesian and Vietnamese oversea residents as well as local individuals of Taiwan , Singapore , Saipan , Hong Kong, Macau, Marshal Islands , Japan, USA, and Saudi Arabia.
